Zero Retention by Design
Your manuscript is deleted the moment vectorization ends. NervLess keeps no transcripts, no recordings, and no copies of your paper - zero retention, by design.
1. What we collect
We collect only what the practice platform needs to work: your name and school email address for your account, the manuscript you upload for a session, your voice input while a mock defense is running, and basic practice metrics such as session duration and your scores.
2. What we never store
Your manuscript text is never written to disk and never persists after your session. We keep no transcripts of your answers, no audio recordings, and no voice prints. When your mock defense ends, everything you said and uploaded is gone.
3. How your manuscript is processed
Your document is parsed entirely in memory. The extracted text is used to ground the panelist's questions, and it is purged the moment vectorization ends and your session closes. There is no copy to delete later, because no copy is ever kept.
4. Your voice during sessions
Your microphone input is processed live to detect when you are speaking and to transcribe your answers in real time. That transcription exists only for the duration of the session. It is never saved, exported, or used for training.
5. What we keep
After each session we retain only non-sensitive practice metrics: how long the session ran and the scores you earned. These power your progress analytics. They cannot be used to reconstruct your manuscript or anything you said.
6. Your rights under RA 10173
The NervLess platform is built to comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Because we retain almost nothing by design, requests to access, correct, or delete your personal data are simple: your account record and your practice metrics are the only data we hold, and you may ask for either to be removed at any time.
7. Third-party services
NervLess runs on self-hosted infrastructure: the panelist model and the speech service are self-hosted, and account authentication is handled by Supabase. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose outside the practice sessions you start.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. Continued use of NervLess after a change means you accept the revised policy.
